Version Fest

hello all
last monday at the meeting we talked about the Art Shanty attending
Version Fest in Chicago. the dates are Apr 27 to May 1st. Last year
we brought 5 Shanties down and a bunch of art that was about Shanties
and made some connections and just spread the word about Minnesota,
the Soap Factory and the Art Shanty.
We want to go again this year and are extending the opportunity to
anyone who would like to be involved.
some ideas so far:
:we can set some Shanties up inside this big warehouse where the NFO
Expo takes place
:at the moment we plan to bring one for sure and make it the Norae
Shanty.
:there are also spaces outside for Shanties to be set up
:we would also like to bring visual art from or about the Shanty
project, including having a slide show of images running.
:the designers are working on some kind of 'leave behind' that people
who are interested in the project can take.
:it is also a possibility for people to come and help staff whatever
we bring and not have to bring a shanty along.
:there are many possibilities for what can take place so in light of
that David has made a blog where we can all post and discuss what we
might want to do.
the address is
blog site:

email direct to blog
aspversion.medicinelake@blogger.com
if you send an email to this address it will post on the blog

so use this site to indicate if you are interested in going and what
you might want to do.
and as a reminder please send me some images on a disk of the project
and if you have not yet filled out a survey please do that as well
hope you are all well.
